Marko Milić Joins Dallas Mavericks as Assistant Coach
Mavericks coaching staff complete with Milić addition
The Dallas Mavericks announced today that Marko Milić has joined the team as an assistant coach. Milić joins the Mavericks after spending last season as an assistant coach with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Milić has a wealth of coaching experience, having spent time as an assistant coach with the Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors, and Philadelphia 76ers. He also has experience as a head coach, having led the Serbian national team to a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
"Marko is a great addition to our coaching staff," said Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd. "He has a wealth of experience in both the NBA and internationally. He's a great teacher and communicator, and he's going to be a valuable asset to our team."
Milić is excited to join the Mavericks and help the team achieve its goals.
"I'm thrilled to be joining the Dallas Mavericks," said Milić. "This is a great organization with a lot of potential. I'm looking forward to working with Coach Kidd and the rest of the staff to help this team reach its goals."
