The 152nd Open Championship will take place at Royal Troon in South Ayrshire, Scotland, in 2024. The Open returns to Royal Troon for the ninth time, following the most recent staging in 2016.

Royal Troon first hosted The Open in 1923 and has since staged the Championship in 1950, 1962, 1973, 1982, 1989, 1997 and 2004. Only St Andrews, Prestwick and Muirfield have hosted The Open more times.
